Ashitkumar Bandyopadhyay (Ph.D, M.A)
Dr. Asit Kumar Bandyopadhyay, M.A., Ph.D., is a distinguished scholar and academician in the field of Bengali language and literature. Dr. Bandyopadhyay was the Professor of the Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay Chair at the University of Calcutta. He also worked as the Head of the Department of Bengali, shaping generations of students with his scholarly expertise. One of his most celebrated books is "Bangla Sahityer Itibritta" along with its several editions by Modern Book Agency Pvt Ltd.
