Rasbihari Basu (M.A, Ph.D)
Dr. Rasbihari Das, M.A., Ph.D., is a distinguished philosopher and academic with an illustrious career in teaching and research. He has served as Director of the Indian Academy of Philosophy and as a former Professor at the Indian Institute of Philosophy. He was also the Head of the Department of Philosophy at Sagar University, and his academic influence extended to the University of Calcutta, where he contributed significantly to the Department of Philosophy. His international recognition includes participation in the World Congress of Philosophy (1955) and academic engagements at Harvard University, USA (1965), and Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. A prominent figure in Indian philosophical circles, he also served as the founding President of the Indian Philosophical Congress (1956). One of his most celebrated books is "Kanter Darshan by Paschimbanga Rajya Pustak Parshad" which is widely appreciated among students, scholars, and literary enthusiasts.
