Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888-1975) was a distinguished Indian philosopher, scholar, and statesman who served as the second President of India from 1962 to 1967. Born in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu, he became one of the most prominent interpreters of Indian philosophy to the Western world.
